Javon Hargrave is a professional American football player who currently plays as a defensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). 

He was born on February 7, 1993, in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Hargrave played college football at South Carolina State University, where he was a standout player. He was eventually selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

In his first four seasons with the Steelers, Hargrave established himself as a reliable and productive player. He recorded 168 tackles, 14.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 63 games.
