John Fetterman is an American politician and public servant who currently serves as the Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania. He was born on August 15, 1969, in Reading, Pennsylvania, and grew up in York, Pennsylvania.

Fetterman's career began as a youth organizer and community activist in Braddock, Pennsylvania, a small town outside of Pittsburgh that was struggling with poverty and urban decay. 

In 2005, he was elected mayor of Braddock and became known for his innovative and progressive approach to revitalizing the town.
